I just pureed some meat the other night. I steamed it with peas & sweet potatoes. then put it in the food precessor & used formula as the liquid. It actually came out smoother than what I expected but maybe the veggies helped with that. I plan on feeding that to my LO over the weekend.

Did you freeze it? I know you only use a small amount, but I wasn't sure what would happen because you're not supposed to freeze formula.

I haven't gotten to meats yet, but I remember reading that you can also use broth to thin out the mixture. You can either make a little of your own or use a low-sodium broth.

I made a small batch but didn't freeze it. I plan on feeding it tonight, but you're rightr...you aren't supposed to freeze formula. Hence why I made a small batch just to test it out.

I bought fresh chicken (light and dark meat) and boiled it. Then I pureed it (it needed a lot of water) and froze it. I reheat it for her. I've tasted it, and it doesn't taste bad. The texture is what is off putting, but the flavor itself is... chicken!
