Today, I hate that DH travels for work.

I normally don't mind when DH travels, at ALL. BUT - DH was supposed to stop traveling as of November 1st. I thought it was a bit early considering I've never gone into labor on my own and never progressed passed 1cm on my own, hence having a repeat c-section.

Anyway, apparently DH's company now NEEDS him to travel to Abu Dhabi (a 15-30 place ride depending on lay overs) from the 4th to the 17th, just 5 days before our son is supposed to be born.

I have SO much that will need to be done during that time to (start) finish getting ready for our new child and I'm going to be alone with a 3yo and a 17mo trying to get it all done!

Ugh! Okay, vent over. This is one of those it will all get done because it has to scenarios. I just hope I don't have a breakdown before then.

My husband travels a lot for work too and I can't imagine trying to get everything ready with 2 LOs.  I would call for help from a family member or friend if you can.

Im sorry. Thats very hard. I would be a wreck too. You know my DH's schedule and we have had times where he was supposed to be home very close to my due date and its very hard. With him he works on a rig so to get home is a 12 hours process at the least. I can't imagine him being out of the country that far away. Hang in there, focus on the things you need to get done and try to get him to do what you need him to do earlier.

I understand the frustration. DH also travels for work. I am on bedrest which is making it hard to prepare for baby #2 and handle DD who is 10.5 months old.
