Orion Dean is awesome. I've met two boys with the name Orion, one newborn and one adult. The older Orion is honestly the coolest and most laid back guy I've ever met and everyone who meets him just loves him. They call him O since there is a mutual friend we all share named Ryan and it gets confusing when it's said fast. Marlee is NMS and Lynn is okay.
well we were considering some other girls name but Marleigh is my Grandmothers middle name and when she passed away earlier this year i wanted to remember her but naming my daughter (if thats what we have) her name but spelling it differently. orion was a completly original name so im glad you all liked it =]

I much prefer your grandmother's spelling of the name! Hate "ee" names. They all look ditzy to me.
I don't care for Marlee either--it doesn't pass the Supreme Court Justice test for me. How about another derivative of your grandmother's name, since I do like the sentiment. Marlo? Mariel?
I really dislike Marlee. Aside from being harsh-sounding (think Harley, snarly...), the EE looks SO juvenile. I like that you're honoring your grandmother though. What if you just used Leigh?
Agreed. I can't stand that on most names (Tracee, Sandee, Ashlee, ugh.)
Orion is NMS, but it's pretty cool I guess. I love Dean.

This. I also like Marley. It is my top girl name.
Not a fan of Orion. I agree that it looks like it says "Onion" and I think the pronunciation is awkward.

Re: Suprise gender..
I like Orion.. and think it's kinda cute you can call him Odie for some reason that amuses me
Marlee is kinda cute.. but I'm hoping on the correct spelling band wagon and going to suggest Marley
I dig Orion Dean
I really really dislike Marlee - especially as you have it spelled.
Orion is totally original and reminds me of my friend's son, Tytan...which totally fits her DS.
Marlee I do not like because I know 5 little ones with that name.
it depdns on last name
orion looks like onion or union
