What about soybean oil and soy lecihtin (sp)?

If I am trying to cut soy do I need to eliminate these too?

  • I was told no, that they are so processed that they is very little chance of a reaction.  However, I imagine it really depends on your child and how sensitive he is.

This.  I would pull them for 2 weeks or until your LO's issues get better and then re-introduce into your diet slowly.

  • I was told to pull soybean oil but not soy lecithin.
  • I was told to pull both. When I reintroduced, he handled oil fine but reacted to lethicin.

  • DS reacted to both.  We're in the process of slowly reintroducing soy now.  My fingers are crossed!  Soybean oil and soy lecithin are in EVERYTHING!
