I voted SS. I found a porn video under my brothers bed when I was looking for his stash of candy. I put it in the VHS, and screamed for my mom when they started doing the deed. Yeah brother was grounded for months!
Well, my little sister was born when I was 6.5 y/o, so that did create a few questions. I also read Judy Blume books at a young age, so I had more questions there. My mom was pretty good about it when I was little. If I told her I knew a little nugget of info, she would ask me what I knew about it and then fill in the holes for me.
A combo of "I always knew" and "My parents told me". My mom was very open about our bodies and sex and made sure we knew the very basics, at least, from a very early age. I dont remember ever "learning" about it, because she gave us age appropriate info starting at a very early age and it just naturally progressed so there was never "the talk".
SS- a friend's brother was talking about "boners" - I went home and asked my mom what it meant. I'm sure she didn't expect to give the sex talk when I was 4.

ETA: Viewing Risky Business from the loft over my friend's livingroom during a sleepover was also "educational."
