Cramping ...

I went to L&D Tuesday night for some contractions that would not stop. After about 15 hours they got them to stop or at least become irregular. They sent me home yesterday afternoon.

I woke up bright and early this morning to 1 contraction and just what feels like mild menstral cramping without the contractions for about an hour this morning. I am 1cm Dilated and 30%. Have any of you ladies had this before? Any reason behind it or just typical preggers symptoms? Thank you Ladies :-)

This has been me for the last week and a half.  It sucks, but there really isn't anything to be done other than wait until real labor starts.  The cramping and contractions get worse for me as the day goes on so I make sure I lay down for a few hours in the evening.  That seems to help some.

I went to L&D for this one weekend because I have had previous PTL issues with both my boys. The nurse told me I had an irritable uterus, which I have been told before, and that's what the crampy feeling was. I have also had false labor, which is what feels like real contractions, really hurt, but only last for 1-3 hours, and do not intensify or get closer together. (Mine stay around 5 mins apart). I've had this two weekends in a row, as well as when I drive. There is pretty much nothing to be done about them, except wait for the real thing. I take the progesterone shots, so I'm pretty sure I would have gone into real labor by now without them. I didn't have them with my boys, and had PTL with both. Anyway, I know how scary it is to have real contractions and such....did they put you on any type of bedrest? I know when I had mine at 32 weeks last pregnancy, I was in the hospital for a week and then released on bedrest.

Ive been having mild cramping off and on for 3 weeks now. Still pregnant and everything is checking out fine! I have frequent Braxton Hicks but no real contractions. I wouldn't stress unless you were having painful contractions too. But that's just my opinion!

I had 3 or 4 fairly mild "contractions" a couple nights ago. They stopped though before I got worried enough to go to the hospital about it. Felt like slightly strong menstrual cramping, about 15-20 minutes apart.  None since that night though, whew!
