Co, how do I make a poll?

I see the poll tab, but it wont post...

When you make a new post, go to the "post tab" at the top, and that is where you put in subject of the poll and in the message, type in [*Poll*] (minus the stars), and then click on the Poll tab (at the top) and check the checkbox, and type in the poll question again, and add the answers...

 

I haven't figured out an easier way to do it...
