What are the kids being for halloween?

I have nothing for Ethan.  Sophia has a pink and green fairy costume from my sister.  I wanted her to be tinkerbelle but I have a free costume so I can't pass it up.  Plus she looks really cute in it.

Charlie's being Captain Hook & Paul will be Mr. Smee

DH is being Peter Pan (complete with tights!) and I'll be Tinkerbell (a knocked up one, should be interesting...)

Charlotte is being a ladybug. I don't plan on dressing up this year. DH was a football player last year for answering the door, maybe he will do that again. We don't have a party or anything we are going to, so I really haven't thought much about it.

Tori is going to be Minnie Mouse (the pink version)  She is completely obsessed with Mickey Mouse clubhouse & didn't want to take the costume off the day we tried it on her.  Hopefully she'll feel the same way halloween night.  Last year she wsa Tinkerbell, but hated the wings.

DH is dressing up as gumby for the annual party we're going to - I'm totally copping out & going as a "cow-girl"!

Ian's going to be Thomas the Train. He's obsessed with it right now, and was so proud to pick out his costume at the store.

Justin is going to be a Dr. and Dylan is going to be a Buffalo Bill.  Dylan WILL NOT wear a costume so this is something that will be easy.  We already had the jersey and so I just had to buy some sweats and face paint.

R is going to be a cute monster. I had a dragon costume I bought at Once Upon A Child, but even though it was a 3t/4t it is too small. BRU had a big sale this weekend and we got him a warm cozy blue monster for $8. It fits, looks adorable, will be warm, and he got to pick it out.

I may be swingin' Halloween alone this year, so I guess we will TT early and then head home to hand out candy.

Rosie is going to be Alice in Wonderland, and Thomas is going to be the white rabbit.  His costume is just bunny ears, a little vest like thing I made out of felt, tiny glasses and bunny ears.  I think I'm just as excited as Rosie.

I bought Claire a Sea Otter costume but she told me she wanted to be a witch so I'm in the process of making it.  She'll end up being whatever she will wear that night.

Evan is going to be a monkey (the Carter's version).

Jules is going to be a candy corn.  I finished it last week (a couple weeks early!) and it's cute but so far she wants nothing to do with the hat and it's sooo much cuter with the hat on!  My MIL showed up with an adult size candy corn costume that she borrowed from a friend for us...DH will absolutely not wear it.  I will wear it for one pic but that's it!

Both boys are going to be smurfs.  My mom made the hats and white pants that cover their shoes.  I bought bright blue shirts at target and am *maybe* going to paint their faces blue depending on how agreeable they are to it.  I am also still deciding if they are going to be smurfs with professions (aka dr. smurf or bodybuilder smurf or something) not sure yet.

Eve is going to be Cheer Bear.

Natalie is going to be Tuck from Wonderpets.

Eve picked both costumes. I am relieved she switched to Cheer Bear from Share Bear because Share bear costumes are impossible to find. Cheer Bear ones are findable.. just freaking expensive.
She told me she wanted Natalie to be Tuck.. Eve likes to pretend she is characters from her shows.. and when she is, everyone else has to be too.. doesn't matter that they're all different shows.. and it goes on for weeks and Days. Eve's character varies, but I am always Strawberry Shortcake, DH is Swiper and Natalie is Tuck.. I think its a little silly that Natalie is being a "boy" costume.. but its cute that Eve picked it.

DD might be Snow White. We bought the costume from Etsy and it was a little small around her tummy, so the MIL adjusted it. I hope we get it back in the mail from her soon, so we can do another fitting. I have the Evil Queen costume from Snow White that I might wear. And DH will be the guy who gets to carry Snow White when she gets tired of walking.

M will be a pirate- my choice- so we'll see how that goes. i haven't tried on his costume yet (from Old Navy) but i am going to try and get him to wear it to our friends child's b-day party this weekend- it's a pirate themed party.

we are headed to a halloween themed wedding next friday and the bride is encouraging her guests to dress up, i know DH won't, i am on the fence.

T's being a cupcake which I am SO excited about because it's so fitting for her personality right now. She's obsessed with baking right now and loves cupcakes too! I was originally planning to try and make her one but then found one at the store that I loved for like $14 so I couldn't beat it!

Both boys are going to be pumpkins.  Evan has been asking to be one for like 2 months and when we asked him what Andrew should be he said a "pumpkin patch", so he will be a pumpkin as well

I really wanted Evan to be a dinosaur (he's super into them lately, and I thought the costume at Target was really cute) He however had different ideas... he picked out Buzz Lightyear. I really thought I had one last year to pick! Oh well, as long as he'll wear it. It's basically just a lightweight onepiece pj looking thing.
