How Can I Sleep?

So I went to L&D with what I was sure was contractions. yep, i was right. after two shots to stop them and no luck, I took 3 pills and they seemed to have worked ... for now. The shots worked at first, then they wore off and I had contractions again. When these where off if I start contracting then they are going to let me go. I was dilating while contracting.

 But they tell you to sleep. How in the world are you supposed to sleep even a little, with a IV and monitors?? HEHE! Awe well, just a random post because of my bordom!
