Incision Bleeding

Is this normal?  I keep asking people and the dr and they've said it's ok.  It started hurting over the weekend and yesterday morning I noticed it was bleeding.  Last night it bled onto my underwear.  How do you know when it's bleeding "too much" like the nurse said?  It's been 2 weeks since the c/s and it had already stopped bleeding normally in the hospital.

This happened to me too.  The OB said that it must have been a vein that wasn't actively bleeding when she sealed me up and that it would stop eventually.  I think it bled for like a week.  I would definitely tell your OB though because mine said that if it continuted to bleed she would open me back up to cauterize the vein that was causing the issue.  I did keep a pad on that part of my scar for a little bit and for the first few days I was changing it about every 2-3 hours.

I would call your OB. I had bleeding 2 weeks PP and my incision was infected and needed to be drained. Gross, but I really wish I had called day 1 instead of waiting.

It's still sore of course but I don't know if it's infected.  I don't have a temp and I don't think it's red other than the bleeding.  I've already called the OB and his office said some blood is normal.  I just worry that it's not closed up right and my scar will be even uglier and uneven.
