I know this is a little early but my car is literally falling apart and we need to get a newer car. Do you all have any suggestions as I do know I will need trunk space. I really don't have a whole lotta funds but safety is the most important to me.

My car recently got broken into and I had to have a rental that fit three seats. I had a Tahoe and it easily fit all three in the middle row and then, it had a ton of space in the back for stroller, groceries, etc...

ITA!!! I never wanted a minivan, but after 7 months with the boys, I traded in my G6 for the van, and I LOVE IT! Plenty of room for car seats, double stroller, groceries, and lots more.

With just two babies you'd probably be fine with an Altima, Camry, Accord sized car.
I agree with this. We have managed well for 5 years in a Honda Civic. But I'll be the first to admit if you have the $$ a minivan is the way to go....and we will as soon as we can!
I think it also depends to a large extent on your future plans. If you are thinking of more children, minivan all the way. There's no sense in getting a larger sedan only to have to move to something else.
It's so great to see you over here Koyn! I had a Honda CRV and it was great for 2, but I couldn't fit that 3 car seat in. Now we have a minivan, and I must say I do love all the space.
