I recognize many faces from M-PL/TTCAL/PgAL here and wanted to join in as well.

DS was born sleeping in Feb. Like others, we had an otherwise normal pregnancy and were very excited to bring him home. At our 38w3d appt, he had no heartbeat. I went into labor the next day and I was induced that night (was waiting for mom to fly in that night for the induction). My handsome little guy was born at 38w5d in the morning. He looks just like DH with a little of me (enough to know he's definitely mine!). We miss him terribly. We were very blessed to have NILMDTS take pictures for us and I find it comforting to look at DS's pictures every night.

We recently had another loss with our rainbow babies in early Oct. We were pregnant with identical twins and I miscarried them at 6-7 weeks (we had trouble dating this pregnancy due to late ovulation, and I guess our kiddos not growing well). One was not doing well from the start, but it didn't occur to me that I wouldn't be taking at least one home (even though I know better). I had 1 D&C right away and then a 2nd D&C this past weekend for retained tissue and infections.

With the loss of our twins, I'm also heavily mourning DS again. I am finding that our loss with DS is so very different than our loss with the twins emotionally, but still very similar too. I am feeling a bit at a loss these days, but I am so very thankful for this board and the other loss boards. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Welcome and I'm so sorry for your losses. My m/c definitely brought back a lot of emotions that I had with losing Eliott, so I think I kind of understand how you're feeling right now. Big (((HUGS)))
