Nut/Seeds Allergies ?

Keira had a really bad allergic reaction yesterday. We found out she is allergic to sunflower seeds. Now my question is, she is allergic to pastacios and the allergist said to stay away from all nuts. Should I stay away from all seeds too? I was going to ask the allergist and completely forgot. Should I call him back or can you enlighten me?

I would call the allergist just to be sure.

Many allergists want you to stay from any new foods that are highly allergic once your LO has had an allergic reaction.  I would ask my pedi.

I agree.. call your doc.

I'm pretty sure if you're allergic to one type of seed doesn't mean you are automatically allergic to others, but maybe a good idea to test her first before introducing anything else.
