I heard the same thing last night...I know it's October and there have been years where we've had snow by now but after last winter I'm not ready for it.

Blargh! I hate snow. Maybe because I grew up in northern WI and MN. Now that I'm in CO it's not as bad. That being said...it snowed here last weekend!! I am not looking forward to driving in snow

Uggg so not ready for winter!! I wouldn't be surprised if we get snow here soon in Indiana. Our weather is so wacky! Around this time of year, it can be sunny and in the 70's one week and snowing the next.

Thankfully, the dirty s-word isn't heading our way yet. I think possibly the most disgusting phrase in the english language is "drifting snow". That's all we get all winter.

I am waiting for the "frost" word any day now.  I really need to get my @ss in gear and plant some bulbs already before it is too late.  Last year was our first fall at our new place and all I got around to was morning, afternoon, and morning sickness.  I really missed the tulips in the spring.
