PW today! Do you wear an apron when you cook?

I need one....if my clothes aren't gross by days end with the kids, my shirt always gets messy when I cook. I guess I am just a messy cook! I have several tops with spots on them from sauces or grease I guess. I am going to try the stain removal tip from Pinterest with Dawn and hydrogen peroxide.

Do you wear an apron?

I have like 3, hanging maybe like 10 ft from the stove. I never use them. And I definitely should. I think I need to make a conscious effort to use one!

I don't have one and I probably wouldn't wear one if I did, but I always want one! They make really cute ones (on Etsy!) and then I wouldn't have to grumble to myself about getting a spot of something on my shirt.

Usually what happens is that I don't wear one, get stuff all over my clothes, and then put one on.

Nope.  I have 2 that hang on the back of my laundry room door (right off the kitchen) and I never think to put one on.  I need to get better about that.

Sometimes I do. If I'm baking I try to remember to put it on, if not I end up covered in flour dust! I like to wear it if we are entertaining... that way I don't have to worry about getting anything on what I'm wearing. If I'm just home cooking dinner in my yoga pants and a tshirt, I don't really care. I also wear it if I'm frying anything, so I don't get grease splatters on my clothes.

I have one from Williams Sonoma, and it's held up great. I got it as a house-warming gift over 8 years ago. I would like to get a fun one... this is on my Christmas list!

when I do my Christmas baking I do.  I have a pretty one from Williams Sonoma. The christmas tree store has some pretty ones.  Maybe if I cooked I would wear one
