C will be almost a year old, so I'm getting him 12 month toys...a learning cube, some bath toys, a few Little People sets, remote control car, a rocking horse, a snowsuit and a sled we can pull him around on. What are you thinking for your lo?
We didn't do traditional gifts for my DS and we won't be for DD either. We make a hefty contribution to their college funds for the first year and have fun with presents going forward.
She'll still get some teething rings and other stocking stuffers.
We already bought him a PBK Anywhere Chair, a sit to stand walker type toy, a piano toy, and PJs. I might pick up some bath toys and mega blocks, for the most part I'm already done shopping for him.
I'm getting DD a Baby Stella baby doll from Manhattan Toy. I also want to get the Manhattan Toy-brand birdhouse. I also already picked out an SUV ("Things That Go") toy (it has a mom and baby). I'll probably get a few books, and then do an extra contribution to her college fund. She'll get more toys and stuff from family, so we don't really buy a ton when they are still so little and don't really understand Christmas.
Not much for DD because she will get tons from family. We got her the play and learn table, pj's, two books, a stuffed animal, and for her stocking we got a tooth brush, snacks, and a new sippy cup. Also, I might get some socks, if I can find some that stay on her.

Edushape balls
Prince Lionheart Tiger Wheely
IQ Baby Knock-Knock Blocks
Also a couple board books but I haven't decided which ones yet.
Our big splurge for DD is rock and roll Elmo.
plus some clothes in the next size up. We are doing it more becuase DD gets it not so much because DS is getting it.
The best socks I have found for both of my girls are the white faded glory socks at wal-mart (that fold down.)
Us too!
