I really don't like the babies in the pumpkins! I don't get it! Babies with pumpkins around them sure, but when the babies are in the pumpkins with cutouts for the legs look stupid.
I literally JUST showed my hubby a pumpkin baby siggy pic on here because I thought it was so cute!!
I hate all the acronyms. I refuse to type DH and DS in my posts. It feels unnatural and annoys me to read or type it. (I do use some, but those in particular just bug me!)

Hmmm... but anyway my UO. I agree with you on the babies inside of the pumpkins. I don't know how the baby would feel about being put in a pumpkin. Would I want to be put inside a pumpkin? No. So I would put Natalie in one lol.
I don't like the word "preggo."
I don't like HUGE bows.
I don't like when people ask me how much I paid for something, how much my husband and I make and financial things like that. I mean well, if they're asking like "Oh how much did you pay for that toy?" Thats fine. But like my house or car, no.
I don't like people with bad work ethics.
I don't like my FIL because he is rude, judgemental and miserable. He hasn't even came to see Natalie yet. I'm kind of glad though. And as of now I couldn't care less if he ever came to see her. Natalie has my Dad and my hubby's Step Dad as Grandpa's and that's fine by me.
Thanks for creating the thread, good place to vent.
haha, your was the siggy I just showed my hubby! I had seen *a* baby in a pumpkin and thought it was cute, but I couldn't keep the double-pumpkin-cuteness to myself!

This made me laugh out loud. I'm sure you didn't, but I envision you seeing this thread and going out and cutting the pumpkins and putting the kids in them just to post on this thread. Hahahaha still make me laugh typing this.
I also don't like the fact that you used the term "looks stupid" I feel like you are telling me that my babies look stupid, and it kind of rubs me the wrong way. Just saying this post was a little uncalled for. It is not Thursday.
Livian Elizabeth and Alayna Marjorie! On their way to 3!

if it makes you feel any better, her poor grammar (though probably a typo) makes it sound like the leg cutouts are the stupid part- not the babies LOL

Totaly agree with you!!
As far as the asking how much some thing was. I don't mind if someone is like "I really like the dress/shoes/and so on, where did you get them, did it cost a lot" Then they can look the price up themselves.

Don't get me wrong I think your babies are cute. Just don't like the whole- baby in a pumpkin.
See I like the baby in a pumpkin pictures just not MY baby in a pumpkin. I think of how gross it is to carve them and can't imagine sticking my kid in one. But I will gladly ahhh over a picture of someone else's kid in a pumpkin.
Genuinely curious, do you dislike things like babies in Christmas stockings, too?
I do. I also don't like kittens, puppies or hamsters put in pumpkins, cups, stockings etc. But it doesn't make me stabby or anything, I just think it's a silly looking.
She probably knew what she was getting into pre-posting her "UO."
But then again you have to understand it as just that, an opinion.
I don't think she was personally attacking anybody, or anyone's babies.
But anyway, on to my own opinion:
I hate when women who breastfeed act like activists. Like, really, if it's such a 'natural' thing - then just do it and feel good you're doing it, pushing your breastfeeding beliefs on people is no better than pushing your religious beliefs on them. I breastfeed, but I don't want a medal.

I don't like the majority of posed baby photos. Baby in hallowed out pumpkin def. included.
eta: Whoops, didn't realize this got personal. I certainly think all the children in pumpkins look darling, it's just not my cup of tea....better?
My Photo UO: Those sleeping NB pics, where the naked child has some insane hat plopped on his head and his hands contorted into odd positions? I can imagine no situation in which I would want that hanging on my wall. I find them vaguely creepy.
I know the cheese stands alone on that one.
My non Photo UO: I hate pumpkin and Nutella, and Pinterest makes me feel like a culinary freak.
I wouldn't call them creepy, but those photos are NMS. I just don't think babies need a lot of the props I have seen in general, though. To each their own, use what you like (including pumpkins. lol.) I just never wanted a picture of O plopped inside or on top of something, hanging from a tree branch, or with his hands posed wearing a giant knit hat.
This is the funniest thread I've seen in a long time. I would never put my baby in a pumpkin because I think pumpkin guts are disgusting, but whatever floats your boat. I'm not wild about posing babies in obscure objects. I just can't imagine that they'd enjoy it very much. The babies in Anne Geddes photos never seem to be having a good time. If your baby just loves to play in gutted pumpkins, that's another story entirely. I don't live for photo ops, but I seem to be in the minority there.

Scout, you hate nutella? Like Allison and her pumpkin babies, I feel like that's a personal attack. LOL
HOW can you hate nutella?
(speaking of pinterest, I recently pinned a sigh that said << those who say "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" have never tasted nutella>>)
I really don't. I buy it every now and again thinking there must be something I'm missing, and then I eat it and go "nope."
Same thing w/ pumpkin. I make pumpkin pie every year because it's my grandma's recipe and I miss her. I get excited to eat it, take one bit, and go "oh right, I hate pumpkin." Thankfully, DH is more than happy to eat my share. Out of the goodness of his heart, of course.
Have you tried a thin layer of nutella on a graham cracker? I have one with my coffee almost every afternoon! IMHO, you are totally missing out!!
I totally get the pumpkin thing. I get so excited every year when the pumpkin lattes come out. I buy one and take 2 sips and remember pumpkin's not my thing (gingerbread lattes however... mmm can't wait till december!) I also make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies just because they make the house smell so good. Luckily my hubby can polish off an entire batch!

However, my baby rocked an Easter bunny knit hat in her newborn pics. Wanna fight about it?

Well I don't care for the baby in a christmas stocking but I do like a baby in a christmas gift box.
lol.
I like cats. No wait, I liked cats until I had a baby. Now I kinda just wanna leave the front door open by accident.

My DH accidentally shut my cat in my garage all day last week. I didn't even notice he was missing until DH came home and asked about him.
I freakin love pumpkin babies!!!!
LOLerskates.
Oh, TB, how I have missed thee.

I love your siggy, its double the cuteness.
I cant wait to put DD in a pumpkin.
It's "spelled".
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Agreed!
"Spelt" is perfectly correct (as is "spelled").
