Toddlers w/ tempers????

I love my DD, but for the last couple of weeks it seems we've had daily "wrestling matches" w/ her, every morning and every night. She fights us tooth and nail (especially when it's Daddy's turn) when it's time to get ready for school in the a.m. and get ready for bed in the p.m.  We do have routines, which are allegedly supposed to be helpful.  Anyone else dealing w/ this?  We're about at the end of our rope and almost wondering why we're going to put ourselves thru it again w/ baby #2!  HA!

We are going through this with our DS.  I think it's mostly because of the new baby and that's its changed his schedule.  He is gentle and kind with the baby but can be a total terror with DH and I (more so with me).  I'm not sure if its the right thing to do but DH and I stick to our guns and don't give in.  He gets time out if he doesn't listen after three warnings.  He usually behaves a lot better after he has had time to calm down in timeout. 

I'm hoping this stage passed quickly, I miss my sweet cuddly little boy.

DD is the SAME EXACT WAY...she fights us on almost everything - especially at night when trying to put her down to bed..it's like an hour thing.......it's horrible..I dread putting her to bed every night. it used to be so easy.

Heh could have written this myself. DS was usually really happy go lucky but for the past few weeks he is suddenly very moody and has tantrums and screams NO!!! at everything! He is still a great little guy for the most part but it was seemingly overnight he got this temper! He also hasn't been sleeping as well lately. We also have routines. I'm finding it quite tiring since baby 2 will be here in just under 2 months!
