I'm not pregnant *yet* but we plan to start trying after this month's AF comes and goes. DS is such an angel - sleeps good and is so happy. We are so blessed. MH works at night and stays home with DS during the day - though we plan to start daycare after the new year. But, with dinner, chores, playtime and bath time, I'm exhausted by bedtime. I'm ready to expand our family, but scared at the same time. How do other Mom's that work outside the home handle it?
Re: 2 under 2 and working full-time outside the home?
24 hours in a day= 8 hours for work, 8 hours for sleep, 4 hours for house stuff and 4 hours with kids per day... obviously this would be a perfect day, but it's the balance that I strive for. Also weekends are more like 12 hours for the kids, 4 hours for house stuff and 8 hours for sleep
For us the key is maintenance, "don't put it down, put it away" once you let one room go, it just snowballs from there! GL
