I have mine tomorrow. I'm hoping to get a clear answer about whether or not the babies share a placenta. It's been hard to tell so far, although it looks like they do.
In addition to a detailed ultrasound, what can I expect?
My MFM was just for consulting and u/s. I would get a transvaginal u/s to measure cervical length and then the u/s tech would do the u/s and give the report to the MFM and then he would come do his own scan and talk to us.
We had a really long, in-depth ultrasound (they were looking for dividing membranes, but didn't find them all) and then spoke to the MFM for a while about his recommendations, how the thought the pregnancy might go, etc, etc. That was at 16 weeks.
