crawling on tile floor?

My lo is 8 months old and has been crawling for a while now but I haven't let her crawl on the tile floor because I'm afraid that she'll slip and get hurt but I've seen that a lot of moms are okay with it. What do you ladies think?[Poll]

We have hardwood and tile and unfortunately she is going to slip and bump herself(and has) but there isn't much we can do. she has adapted her crawling and movement to whatever type of floor she is on.

We haven't let Sophie crawl on our tile yet. She's still mastering the whole crawling thing, but I'm afraid she'll hurt herself on such hard flooring. Maybe when she's more secure in her movement...

Once she's crawling well, she will be crawling on hard surfaces. Our whole house is hardwood except for the bedrooms and some area rugs. I don't plan to pen her in unless I can't supervise.

We have all hard work and i never even though about it being less safe.

Our entire middle floor is hardwood, so our son has no choice, but to crawl on the wood. It hurts my knees just thinking about it, but it doesn't seem to bother him.
