8 month old - how many oz?

I was nursing until a couple days ago, when I realized I had dried up and Jo hadn't been getting any for a couple of day (bad mom moment for me

She's 16 lbs right now (weighed today) and she's only taking in 18 maybe 20 oz a day between pumped milk from the freezer and formula. I try to give mroe to her and she refuses it. She's also eating 3 meals a day 3 -4 oz each meal. But even this weekend she's refused a couple of those as well.

Is it the age, just a phase or should I be calling my nurse practicioner tomorrow when she is in?

(I truthfully have little idea to how much she was getting while nursing, she would only nurse for 8 minutes total 4 times a day + 1 5 oz bottle before I switched)

I think it's something like 24-32 oz in a 24 hour period. One of my girls just went through a phase like that. It lasted about a 3-4 days.

I think as long as she is having plenty of wet and solid diapers, is acting normally, or showing any signs of distress, she is fine.

 E was just under 16lbs at 8 months.  She was drinking between 6 & 7 oz bottles of formula 4-5 times a day.  I switched her up to 8 oz at about 8.5 months which she does 4-5 of those a day.  She doesn't always finish them though.  Sometimes she will suck the whole thing down and other times she will leave up to 3 oz.  She also only eats 2 meals a day that are 4 oz. 

  She has gone through days though were it has been a struggle to get her to atleast 18 oz of formula though.  I don't think I would really worry at this point she seems to be gaining right on track for her little peanut self.

My daughter only takes about 20 oz. per day plus three small solid meals (and she's big-in the 60-70 percentile).  As long as she has plenty of wet diapers and is gaining some weight, I don't think you need to worry.

Yeah, I agree as long as she's wetting the diapers and gaining weight then you're fine. But if you are concerned, it never hurts to call your Pedi. I think the a lot of babies slow down a little bit on formula because they're now eating solids. But my Pedi always said to give her the bottle first and then the solids. That way she gets the formula she needs and then she will usually eat most of her solids after the bottle.
