What are you getting you 7 Year old girl for Christmas?

Yet another Christmas post Big Smile Iam at a complete loss as to what to get my DD for Christmas because she is at the weird stage where she is to old for dolls, and to young for other things. Please help me with some ideas! She loves to read, so we where thinking of buying her a Kindle, and downloading her some books from the library, but we can't think of anything else.

She wants an ipod upgrade, a pink office chair that spins, a sewing machine, and an american girl doll.

When my DD was 7 we got her a Nintendo DS and a few games she'd like (Cooking Mama, Zelda)

It is a tough age.  My 6yo is in 1st grade.  She's getting a new bike - hers is too small and she loves to ride her bike.  CD's (she loves Hanna Montana), AG doll clothes or possibly an AG bitty baby.  Probably some clothes or accessories.  She really wants a Wii and that's going to be a family present, so some games for that.

DD has an ipod that she really likes and a dock for it that she uses so that's an idea if your DD likes music.

    I don't know yet.  She is 6.

I feel like she just had a birthday (2 months ago).  I wanted to get her a Nintendo DS but grandma bought her a LeapPad.  I don't want to look like I am over stepping that but I fear she will outgrow the LeapPad quickly.

I also thought about American Girl Doll assessories.

She loves Barbie.   I thought about a Holiday one.

IDK, those are my limited thoughts so far.

I dont have a 7 yr old right now but I was asking myself this exact question earlier as we would really like to adopt a 7yr old girl. I saw the ultimate easy bake oven I had a ton of fun with mine when I was a little girl this is a better revamped version would something like this be a good gift or am I far behind the times?

Not behind the times at all, my 10 y/o wants one of those even though she's old enough to bake in a regular oven.  It would be a great (but messy) gift for a 7 y/o.  :)

Good idea! I totally didnt think about that. She is IN LOVE with Justin Beiber so those would be perfect.

My DD loves her easy bake oven as well.  My neice is 10 and she has one and loves to use it as well.  I think my neice got hers at 8 or 9 but she can do it independently now.
