Gerber Clothes

Does anyone else find that these run small? Ryan is big-ish but certainly not huge, and not one of his Gerber outfits (sleepers and onesies) fits him. He wears 18 month in everything else and it's a bit loose, but for Gerber he can't even wear the 18 month clothes!

  • Super small.  She wore one size bigger, sometimes 2 in gerber.  I stopped buying them for that reason and because the fabric seems thin and cheap and falls apart.  She fits in the carter's with the age pretty well.  She is 11 1/2 months and has been in the 9-12 size since about 8 1/2 mo.

I swear these 18 month things would've fit at 4 months. They are cut SO small. It's diving me insane because I thought we had a ton of PJs for him, but now I'm finding out they dont fit!

  • They run soooo small! After we grew out of what were gifted to us, I never bought the brand again.
  • Super, super small. We got a few outfits when DD was first born and haven't worn them since. They were at least one size off.

Crap. I just purchased 12 month Gerber onesies and they are in the wash. They run small? Fark!

I haven't been able to find plain long sleeve onesies anywhere and this was the only size they had at Target. I can't win.
I tried to put Ryan in an 18 month sleeper last night and it literally would not even go 1/2 way up his arm.  He's 23lbs 11 oz, so nice sized but not huge for his age and none of their clothes fit him.

Dude.  I was so pissed when I pulled out the 12-mo. fleece jammies I bought the girls last year on clearance and they were fvcking Gerber.  I knew even before I opened the package they wouldn't fit because they were designed for 16-21lbs and the girls were 21lbs and 22lbs at 9 months.

The Carters and ON jammies fit perfectly, though.

  • Yes they are terrible.  DS is a peanut and still none of it fits him.  I swore everything Gerber brand off when he was around 3 months old.  Even their receiving blankets are tiny.  Complete waste of $$.

  • Oh god yes.  It's one thing I've tried to drill into my SIL's head as she waits for her baby.  I bought 6-9 month onesies once and they were the same size as his newborn stuff. Ridiculous.

  • I have returned or exchanged everything Gerber. Hunter is in mostly 24 month stuff and a few 18 month stuff. I haven't put him in Gerber since he was 3 month old and I had to cut him out of it because of being small.
DS has acid relux and milk protein allergy, and had torticollis, used to EP, now we FF . April siggy 3-6 month

  • Yes. They run terribly small. I realized this when DS was about 3 months old. I refuse to buy them for this reason.

THIS!  I bought a pack of onesies that were on sale when DS was in 12 mo clothing.  I bought the 18 mo ones and they were almost too small!
