Just wondering why it seems like everyone on here who has a milk allergic baby goes straight to Neocare or Elecare. We tried the Elecare, but DS flat out refused to drink it at all. So we went to soy. He seems to like it. Just want to make sure I am not missing anything obvious.
Re: Milk Allergy- Why Neocare vs Soy?
Lots of babies that are sensitive to milk are also sensitive to soy. Since both are top 8 allergens- sometimes it makes sense not to try the soy and skip to something that you know is safe.
My son (thankfully) could handle soy products even though he can't have milk.

mine couldn't have milk and soy. There aren't really too many options.
Not sure if you're aware but over 50% of kids that can't tolerate dairy due to an intolerance or allergy also can't tolerate soy.
I'm also not a fan of soy these days. It seems like it's doing more harm than anything with all the added GMO.
I did know that about the intolerance...that is why we went straight to Alimentum instead of soy way back when...but we switched now since DS tested fine with the soy. And honestly, we just can't afford to have him not eat since he is already struggling weight wise.
Forgive my ignorance, but what is GMO?
ETA: Nevermind. I googled. ::sigh::
