Another U/S update

I had to go back early this morning for another u/s and bloodwork.  I still have five follicles under 10mm. (2 on the right, 3 on the left).  I was a little upset about this when I left there, but I have been trying to tell myself that just because they are still below 10mm, it doesn't mean that they haven't grown since Friday. They didn't measure them, so I have no way of knowing if there is a difference in size.

My new instructions are to continue with 300 follistim and now 3 vials of menopur instead of 2 for tonight and tomorrow, then back on Tuesday morning for another u/s.

I had to work this morning for a couple of hours and went in right after my appointment, but I ended up feeling really sick when I got in and went home after 45 minutes or so, after finishing a couple of things I needed to get done.

Not sure what is up, I feel much better now, but most of the day I felt lousy, headache, nauseous and achy. I was afraid of the flu, but I think I might have gotten myself a little worked up about my ultrasound. I don't know, I'm ust glad that it seems to be gone now, I really don't want to get sick and have anythign mess up this cycle!

Hi there,

Glad you are feeling better tonight. Did they do any bloodwork this am?  As long as your E2 is rising, they are growing. It's so annoying when they don't measure. It would make us feel better (or at least know the truth) if they did.  I go in Tues morning as well so we can both report back then! Hang in there:-)

I too go back Tuesday and am equally frustrated with not measuring under 10 - although the dr today did tell me 1 made it to 9 and the rest are very small. My E2 moved only slightly but I keep saying it is at least something - after 7 nights of stims it is only up to 140 but it did a bit more than double in the last 2 days.

what are your E2 levels??

Grow follies Grow!!!! Cheering all you ladies on and will be watching for your updates.  Glad that you are feeling better.  Something is going around-and I know it's not the flu cause I got my flu shot.  I find that at my RE I always have to ask about my E2, or they won't offer up that information.  The ultrasound girl like's to tell my what my biggest measurable follie is and my smallest.  I've started asking in the lab that they print out my info on the computer.  It list all the follie sizes and my E2 level from the previous draw.  Encourage finding some loophole to try to get the information you are seeking.  Sounds like all of you might trigger around next weekend?  Good luck to everyone!!!

 They did do bloodwork but I don't know what the result was because I missed the phone call from the nurse so I didn't get a chance to ask...I think I'll call tomorrow and try to find out...Looking forward to the updates on Tuesday-hopefully we will have many growing follies by then!  Happywifemom can't wait to hear your fertility report

I just talked to the nurse, she said my lining is at 6 and my E2 is 86, and it was 56 on Friday, so hopefully follies are growing as they should and tomorrow will be a good visit...
