***andrea*** re: Next

Question about Next...I've been wanting DH to go there when he goes to London, but he hasn't been since April. Hoping he'll go soon. Anyway, exactly how big does their sizing run? Abigail has a bunch of clothes from Primark, in fact she wore a dress today that was 18-24M that is still a kinda big on her. She's small for 3, but not THAT small.  Its that pretty much standard for UK sizes or just Primark? Should I expect Next to be sized about the same way?

Re: ***andrea*** re: Next

  • I find their clothes to be pretty big, all UK clothes actually, since we have lots from M&S, Next, MiniBoden, Boots, John Lewis. I don't think any of them run true to size. I just started buying Finn clothes that are his size because I figured he can wear them a little big now and still wear them later. I wouldn't get them too small because you would hate to get her something she can't wear.

I know, so helpful :) I guess my advice would be that I do think all UK clothes run big!

  • I have never actually bought anything from Primark so I am not sure how their clothes are but I would say get at least a 2t, 18 to 24 months may be too small. We pretty much get Finn 3T now (he is almost 4), and he is really small. Like 7th% height and 5th% weight. Some of it is big but not huge.
