the hubby's name lists - my bday present
My husband has been super reluctant to talk about (my obsession) baby names now that we're actually expecting, and it's been driving me nuts. Well, my bday was friday, and he gave me a card with the best gift he could have come up with...a list of 11 boy names and 11 girl names! And they're actually pretty good! His girl list includes my top three, and his boy list has at least a few within my top ten. He says I need to make my lists and we'll take each other's and cross one off, one at a time. I love this plan, and I love my husband! Here are the names...
Boys:
Bentley, Blake, Bishop, Greyson, Lincoln, Logan, Lucas, Nixon, Quincy, Ronin, Oliver
Girls:
Bella, Brooklyn, Hannah, Madison, Makayla, Makena, Natalie, Payton, Scarlett, Sofia, Zoe

Blake, Logan, Lucas
Of the girls I'd keep:
Bella, Hannah, Madison, Natalie, Scarlett, Sofia,
I just named my cat Zoe

From the list I like:
Blake, Lincoln, Logan and Lucas
Natalie, Scarlett and Zoe
Don't like: Bentley, Bishop, Nixon, Bella, Makayla and Makena
That is exactly what my husband and I did.
I love Natalie. The rest are nms.

Bella- prefer Isabella, Brooklyn- nms, Hannah- popular, Madison- 90s, Makayla- only as Michaela, Natalie- love, Payton- nms, Scarlett- like, Sofia- love, Zoe- love
What a precious gift!
Out of these boy names, I like Oliver the best. I like Bishop too, although I don't know that I would use it for a first name. the rest are alright names, just nms- good job overall to you DH though!
For the girl names, I love Hannah, and really like Natalie, Scarlett, Sofia and Zoe as well. I like the sound of Madison, but I am not a fan of "Maddy" and it's crazy popularity. The others are nms.
What a nice guy! Overall he has some awesome names there. I love Lincoln and Lucas for boy and Natalie and Scarlett for girl.
I secretly love Bentley, but I wouldn't use it because of Teen Mom.
I love Zoe, Oliver, Hannah, and Greyson.
Bella is way too popular and NMS.
Blkae, Lucas, Natalie, Payton, Sofia, and Scarlett are okay.
I really don't like Ronin and Quincy. Brooklyn seems a little trashy to me.
I hate Bishop. I don't like Lincoln because I think of the car or the President. I don't like Nixon, because it reminds me of Richard Nixon.
Logan is okay, but super popular.
I like Madison, Makayla, and Makena (with different spelling), but those names seem to be way overused and will sound dated in the future.
For the boys, I like Lucas and Oliver. The rest range from NMS (Blake) to vomit-worthy (Bentley).
For the girls, I like Bella, Hannah and Scarlett. I really hate McNames and Payton. The rest are okish.
That is a great gift!
I like Quincy and Oliver.
Major thumbs down to Bentley, Bishop, Lincoln, and Nixon. Too much of a car/president obsession.
I like Hannah and Natalie.
Another thumbs down for Madison, again with the presidents.
From your boys list I like...Greyson, Lincoln, Logan, Lucas, Quincy, Oliver.
From your girls list...Hannah, Natalie, Scarlett, Sofia.
Of the boys, I like Lucas, Ronan (my favorite, but only spelled this way) and Oliver.
For the girls, I like Scarlett and Zoe the best. Brooklyn, Hannah and Natalie are also nice.

Boy names that I like: Logan, Lucas, Oliver. The are either nms--Bentley screams I am a Teen Mom, Greyson is not a name to me, etc.
Girls: Madison, Hannah, Natalie, Scarlett, Zoe. I HATE Makayla and Makena, the rest are just not names I am super fond of.
