As I was preparing to leave the house with two bottles of expressed milk, I noticed one of them had a tiny brown hard thing in it. I fished it out with a toothpick and it's not a bug. It's looks almost like a speck of black pepper. No idea how whatever it is made it into the bottle, but it's 4 1/2 oz. that was pumped this morning. Would you toss it or use it?

You should take your own advice and ZIP IT
Clearly you have no idea how hard it is to pump breast milk, it is like liquid gold and if there was a little speck of something in it, i would have fished it out, seen what it was and more often then not give it to my kid anyway.
You know what's stupid, you
I had gotten coffee grounds in her bottle before.
(I took off the cap and insert, Dr. Brown's bottles, set it on the counter, and checked the temp. The blue insert had gotten grounds on it. I strained them out, and fed LO.)
No biggie.
You may ASSume all you like, but I do know how it is to pump. My thing is that if you don't know what the heck it is, then why risk it? It's your baby that is gold, not milk.
