How often does your 8.5 m/o eat solids?

I'm still bfeeding LO 5xs per day, and I'm wondering what other bfeeding mamas are doing in terms of solids. 

When, how much, etc.

    We're almost there but three times a day, about 4-5oz each time with some puffs/yogurt bites.

    He BF's 5x/day.. lately 2 of those are between the hours of 11pm-7am :(

    My LO drinks BM about 5x/day and has solids 3x/day. We started solids at 5.5 months and worked our way up to 3 meals as he has wanted more. Each meal is about 3-4 oz of purees/cereals. I pump at work and feed bottles of BM at daycare, so I know he's still getting about 5 oz of BM at each feeding, which is the same as he's always gotten.

    LO nurses 6-8x in a 24 hour period and eats about 3-4 oz. of solids 2x/day.  We are starting 3x a 9 months (and hopefully dropping a night feeding).

    LO still primary gets BM. I pump while at work and she gets two 6oz and one 4oz bottles at the sitters. I nurse on the weekends and when I get home from work. She's not taking any food other than a few cheerios while at the sitters. I offer her food at dinner, but she usually just smears it around. If someone tries to force food on her she gets mighty pissed. So I guess I'll just keep offering until she becomes more interested.

    She eats solids three times a day (8am, 12pm, 5pm). Nurses twice (sometimes once overnight too) and gets 2 5-6 ounce bottles of EBM at daycare.

    Thanks everyone! We are just at 2 xs a day (if that) and I'm worried I'm not feeding him enough!

    LO has just now transitioned to 4 bottles per day, and eating solids 3x's a day.

    On kellymom, she suggests starting solids 3x/day at 9 months.  That's what we plan to do.
