XP: Rash after c-section?

I have developed a severe rash a few days after C-section.  The bumpy rash started around the incision and spread to the whole belly and upper legs.  The itchiness is unbearable and drives me crazy.  I didn't have such a rash with my previous C-section.  Did any C-section moms have this?  How should I fight against it?  How long does it take for the rash to clear up?  Could the rash be related to the yellow crust mentioned in the post below?  Thanks so much for any information!

I got a slight rash that lasted a couple weeks. I assumed it was from the mesh underwear and the bandage immediately after the surgery (my dr uses a tape bandage thingy). I got it on my lower belly, upper legs, hips. basically wherever the mesh underwear seams were. I made sure to keep it moisturized with lotion (except I didn't go near the incision) and that helped with the itchiness.

Call your doctor.  I got a rash and it ended up being cellulitis.  (sorry spelled that wrong)  I was on antibiotics after that.

I had a slight rash after my C. It ended up being a skin yeast infection from the nasty flap of skin that was sitting on the incision site. Some Nystop powder cleared it up within a week.

It could be post partum puppp. I had this and it was excruciating. The thing that finally helped was prednisone. Sorry you are dealing with this.
