Yellow crust around incision (C-section)???

I noticed there is yellow crust along the whole incision which did not exist a couple days ago.  Is this normal or am I infected?  I didn't not get any yellow crust with my previous C-section.  Both incisions were taped up with super glue.  I am going to see the OB in a couple of days.  I am just worried that they may need to open up my incision to drain yellow liquids.  I have already suffered a lot from this C-section.  I really hope the yellow crust is not a very big deal.  Please share any information if you could.  Thank you so much!

Re: Yellow crust around incision (C-section)???

  • Is it red and particularly sore? It could be a slight infection, but it could also be nothing. I would just wait to have your Dr. look at it, unless it gets really red and inflamed (then you shouldn't wait to get it checked out)

Hopefully it's turns out to be nothing though.
