Organic similac vs regular

So I switched my girl to organic similac because we are an organic food eating family :) lol. Anyways.. I noticed some differences. The powder takes a little longer to dissolve in the water, it separates into two if its sitting for more than 10 minutes and it has made her poops thicker.

Any of you notice this? Any other differences I should know? I didnt think I would encounter any because the mixing guide is the same and everything. They just use organic milk instead of regular milk. Maybe they take out a few other ingredients too.

Re: Organic similac vs regular

  • I bet it doesn't have corn syrup solids.  Therefore it would take less time to dissolve.

Side note: have you tried "Earth's Best"?  It is supposed to be good, no HFCS.

  • ^^ I agree. It most likely has something to do with corn syrup. We're currently still BF'ing but I think we may use Similac Organic when we do switched to formula. I didn't notice that the price difference was only about $2 until I was looking at it the other day.
  • I have not tried earths best. Can you get it at the regular stores or do you order it off amazon? I wonder what the price difference would be. I pay $24.99 for the bigger carton of formula. I am going to research it a bit :) Thanks ladies.

They sell it a lot of places.  Even walgreens (here) sells it.
