This is the girl's name that my DH is absolutely in love with, and he's starting to sell me on it. He likes Cece as a nickname, and I think Celia is beautiful (and the name of a favorite local poet). Which spelling do you prefer? I've seen at as Cecilia more but with the nicknames we like it seems like Cecelia makes more sense.
Re: Cecilia/Cecelia
I just added Cecilia to my list, I love it. I really like Celia, but as a stand alone name, not as a nn for Cecilia. And, if I had to choose between the two, I would use Celia.
ETA: Cecilia means "blind" and Celia means "heaven" according to babynames.com.

I agree with everything. Except that I already had my baby and it was a boy. But if he were a girl we had it narrowed down to Cecilia or Celia, leaning toward Celia.

This, and Cece as a nickname is SO cute!
I love the name Cecilia (and prefer that spelling -- which doesn't prevent you from using either nn you like, btw, though I'd probably spell the first one Ceci).
St. Cecilia is also the patron saint of music and musicians which is a nice association IMO.
