Storkcraft Tuscany Glider - Suede - How to clean?

Hi Ladies!

We got a great deal on an open item at Babies R Us today - they sold us the Storkcraft Tuscany glider (the box was damaged so it was returned) for $79.99 - down from $219.99. Perfect condition.

It didn't come with instructions since it was an open box item. I want to clean the cushions - just to sanitize them since it was in the store for a few days (according to the clerk who sold it to us). Does anyone have this glider & know how to clean it? Thanks!

Is the glider genuine suede (leather) or microsuede (fabric)? If it is microsuede, you can spot clean it with water and mild detergent or steam clean it.  DH and I have a microsuede couch and we clean it 1-2 times a year with one of the steam carpet cleaners that you can rent at the grocery store.  They usually come with an attachement for furniture (similar to a vacuum cleaner).  You could also call someplace like Stanley Steamer and they can clean it for you.

Thanks for the tip! You're right - it is microsuede. I'll try cleaning it this weekend.
