waterloo outlets?

I will be spending the weekend in Auburn with my dd and I was thinking on my way back Sunday afternoon I could stop at the outlets....has anyone ever done shopping there for their little ones....is it worth it?

Others on here may frequent it more, so they probably have more to add. I went a couple years on my way back from a business trip in Rochester. I got some great deals in Old Navy, Carters had typical prices, and I thought the prices in Children's Place were the same as the store, but it is nice to have everything in one place.

It depends on what you're looking for.  The Carter's is not an outlet store, it's just a regular Carter's.  Old Navy is the same- just a regular Old Navy, and I can't stand the store, it's always been picked over, the clothes are a mess and they never have the size I need.

But the Gymboree, Osh Kosh and Stride Rite stores have good deals, they have Crewcuts at J Crew (expensive, but so cute for a splurge).

Meh.  I like the variety of stores, I like to x-mas shop there.  But the deals aren't what you would think of for outlets.  The only big savings I ever see is through store brand coupons.  Go to the outlet mall website and they have some coupons, they also have a coupon book at customer service, but it is only free to certain ppl, like AAA, also other random associations like Realtors and stuff.  But you can also use brand coupons, like Carters often has store coupons for their store only, like $5 off $20 or something.  I wouldn't be surprised if someone has a blog somewhere that features coupons/deals for outlet malls.

A lot of my kids' clothes come from there and you can defitely get great deals, but you have to hit it at the right time.  I generally find the best deals mid-week.  My whole family family lives in Geneva so we frequent it a lot.  Osh Kosh, Gymboree, Children's Place, Tommy Hilfiger (never really has great deals), Gap, JCrew, Old Navy (not great) are all there.   They also have Stride Rite.  I've gotten the boys shoes at Timerbland and Merrill as well.
