Massive amounts of dried snot

When I picked Gage up out of his crib this morning he had a massive amount of dried, somewhat tacky, snot below his nose.  I did suck an abnormal amout out of there last night before I put him to bed.  I hate nasal aspirators though.  I feel like I'm jamming it too far up his nose in order to get the mucus out.  And his patience for it does not last long.

we've had an abundance of boogers here, too. Just sticky dry-ish ones though. He doesn't seem congested or anything. He's trying really hard to crawl and usually blows out his nose when he gets frustrated, so I haven't had to suck them out! LOL

I would run a humidifier in the room and see if it helps keep the snot runnier and not so tacky/dry.  He may not sound congested but if it's leaking out in full force then there has to be some going down the back of his throat.  It couldn't hurt to at least try it and see if there's any improvement.

I LOVE "Boogie Wipes" They come in grape scented and are made with saline and get boogies off really easy, even the super hard dry ones. I hate aspirators too, I never feel like they are getting much compared to whats in there.

I second the Boogie Wipes.  And the nosefrida is amazing.

Saline drops before sucking really helps.
