I lived!

I thoroughly enjoyed my little vacation without DS, and I didn't die in a plane crash or get murdered, so overall it was great!

DS spent two nights with XMIL/XH and two nights with my mom, and they kept him so busy I don't think he even had a chance to miss me. I did miss him, but honestly it was so nice to not have to worry about taking care of anyone but myself for a few days.

    Yep, Cancun. It was beautiful there. I had never been to Mexico before and people had me worried about it. But everyone was so nice and I didn't feel unsafe at all at any time. Of course, we didn't go downtown or anything, but as far as the airport, the resort and the local mall, it was all great.
