I just wanted to pass on this link for those with scheduled C's. A friend of mine had a c/s 3 months before my first and had on a super cute delivery gown when I went to visit. I loved it and wanted one for myself.
Seems silly to invest in something like this but I decided to and I was SO glad! I felt so much more human in my 4 night stay. I wore the hospital's gown for the first night until I was up and walking then wore my own gown. I bought 2 more before delivering DS2.
Now I have 3 gowns and I really want to buy a new one but probably won't The sleeves are much shorter and tailored compared to hospital gowns and they're also a more comfortable length. They have shoulder snaps for easy nursing access and full coverage in the back - and they make for much cuter hospital pics. Again, I know that shouldn't be important but seriously... when you're exhausted and learning how to care for a newborn, you need to pamper yourself a little!
Anyway.... just thought someone might be interested in them too! I know there are some on Etsy but personally I think these are much cuter without the massive bow around the waist to deal with.

Re: For those with upcoming scheduled c/s
These are awesome! I just had my daughter 2 months ago but I already know I'm going to have another c-section with #2 when we decide to try again.
This is good to know!
they are very cute!!
I remember Bethany Frankel had on a cute gown, but I think hers was way more expensive, naturally.
These are really cute.
Although as soon as my surgery was over, I put on a nursing tank and a cute lightweight bathrobe. No need for a gown after the initial surgery, and I'd much rather wear normal clothes than any type of gown (cute or not).
