Any SAHMs in the Reading/Wakefield/Woburn/Stoneham/Melrose area ?

How did you find playgroups and activities in the area ?  Any reccs?  Thinking about SAH, and am curious what is out there.

I'm not a SAHM but I live in Wakefield.  I actually found a bunch of groups on MeetUp.com.  The most active group I've found is the North Reading Moms and Tots group.  GL

I' m curious as well. I just made the decision to SAH and I live in Wilmington... I'll have to check out meetup.com

I am a SAHM in Reading and I found several moms groups on meetup.com.  The most active ones I found are North Shore Parents Group, N. Reading Moms and Tots, and Momtourage (based in Burlington).  There is also a Reading MOMS Club that is just starting if you are a Reading resident (https://readingmomsclub.org/#) - that group matches you up to a playgroup according to the ages of your children.

The area libraries have baby groups often -- check their calendars.  There is a baby drop-in playgroup this Friday 10/28 in Reading if you are interested.
