WTF update

So long story short we are going back to the Long Lupron. He changed it up with IVF 2 to see if we had better results and we didn't. He may add in some menopur while I stim to help with quality.

My first cycle my estrogen was 2800 and I got 10 good eggs. This time I only got 7 and my estrogen was over 7000. I had lots of follies, but only 8 were of good size and they only got 7 and they were no better quality than last time.

I asked why they had such a bad time with my ER. I guess while I was under that I was having trouble breathing. And every time I took a big breath, I struggled and my ovaries moved up making it harder to get to them. The RE said his partner said it was the hardest egg retrieval he had ever done. Has anyone ever heard of or had a breathing issue? It makes me feel better he got 7 out of 8. I was mad since I thought there should have been more, but I guess not.

I am calling with my next period and I am going to get a Sonohysterography. I told him about my job and insurance and he said it wouldn't hurt to have it done since it had been awhile. I will also go ahead and get my infectious disease panel done since they should also pay for that.

I was able to use the rest of my FSA funds, so that's good. I came out ahead since I only paid in 3k and I was able to use all 4k. Nice right.

And DH's count was up to 98 million, so he was happy about that.

So I think we are going to give this one more shot early next year.

Sounds like you were able to get some good information. That's fantastic news about your your FSA $ and your DH's swimmers!

I know a few people who went back to LL after trying other protocols and switching things up seemed to do the trick.....hoping that's the case for you.
