Did you bruise around your incision?

I've seen lots of pictures of c section incisions but haven't seen any that are all bruised.  When I had my appendix out my entire bellybutton was bruised.

I was black from just below my belly button down past my incision for the first few days. (I had a lot of trauma to the area due to complications getting my son out.)

I had some purple bruising around the incision but it lasted no time.  I don't think it's uncommon considering the trauma to the area.
