Does it really matter? Her 0-6 mos. pacis were gross so I thought I'd throw them out and she'd have no choice but to take the 6+ ones that I got a while back that she hasn't liked. She still won't take them. I thought, well, maybe this is the time to ditch the paci all together. She screams her head off. There is absolutely nothing that I can do to calm her down at nap time. Today I found another 0-6 mos. paci, popped it in after she screamed inconsolably for 15 minutes, and she quieted right down and went to sleep. What's with that?

Re: DD won't take larger paci
We tried the 6 month paci yesterday, fail!!! I know where you're coming from.
DS just started with the 6 month paci maybe 10 days ago. He still prefers the smaller ones, but if it's all I've got near me he'll finally take the bigger one.
DD gagged the first time I gave her a 6m paci, but now she's used to them.
Give her some time, or just stick with the smaller ones.
Ditto. My older DD used the small ones until we took them away at 2.5. I don't think it really matters.
