WTF Thursday

My appt is at 11 a.m. I have no idea what to ask him. I hope he just has some answers. The only thing I can think of his what they only got 7 eggs, why I hurt so much the next day, and if we should go back to Long Lupron which worked.

Would you ask for any tests or anything?  My insurance which runs out at the end of the month covers diagnostic stuff. I can't think of the name, but the uterus/saline check. I had one a few years ago, but I have had 2 D&Cs since that.

  • I hope your apt goes well.  I would definitely see if there are any tests you can get run before your insurance runs out... not just to run them, but if you really need them.

I haven't had my phone consult with him yet to start our next IVF since our loss, but when I talked to his nurse, she said he would keep the same protocol since it worked last time, but that he said he may tweak the doses.  I'm always bad at remembering the names of the protocols, but I think Long Lupron is what I did.  I would definitely ask him about doing the Long Lupron protocol that worked for you.

    Good luck!

  • GL with your appointment this morning!
    TTC since 3/07. IVF#1 = canceled. IVF#2 = 0% fertilization. IVF#3 = BFN. IVF#4 = c/p.
    Moving forward with Adoption 2017!
  • Good luck with your appointment! I would definitely ask about what tests may be beneficial to run. I know my clinic requires most of them to be done annually.
2 IVFs & 1 FET. Welcome home baby girl!
  • Good luck today.  I hope you get some answers from your RE.  I do think it would be a good idea to get any additional testing done soon while you still have insurance.  I don't know what they would recommend, but I'd definitely take them up on anything they suggested.  Thinking of you today!
