Since LO was born in March, I've got a period at the end of May/April and then didn't get another one until the beginning of September. Well it's now mid October and I still don't have a period yet again. I had cramps so bad at the end of September that I ended up in the ER but they couldn't find anything wrong in the CATscan. They said that if it was an ovarian cyst they couldn't see it, but it was possible. Well I'm not on BC mainly because I've been waiting to get a period to start BC (also recently switched health insurance so I can't even go back to my normal doctor because she doesn't take my new insurance) so my hubby and I use condoms. Is anyone else having period issues like this? I never was able to breast feed so that isn't part of it either. Just curious if and when your period became regular again.
Re: Anyone not on BC and have a regular period?

From what I've heard, it's not uncommon for women to have funky cycles after pregnancy, even if they're not breastfeeding.
Have you had ovarian cysts before? It feels different than period cramps, and for me, was way more painful.
I EBF and my normal cycles started at 8 weeks pp, yah me! Seriously, it sucks. My SIL on the other hand, FFed, had one cycle and then went months without another one.
I'm not on BC (went off of it 13 years ago due to an allergic reaction).
I didn't BF.
My period came back around 9 weeks PP. It's regular-ish. Pre-pregnancy, it came along every 22 days and lasted 5 days. Post-pregnancy it's every 18-25 days and lasts 4-6 days. I assume it'll regulate again in time... I hope. That sucker was like clockwork before.
