What's up with no pooping?

So my gold medal pooper (3-5x per day!) has stopped. He poops every other day or so right now. I guess this is normal, but no one mentioned gas. D passes this stinky gas (whew!), and it seems to make him feel better the same way a BM would.

Y'all experience this? Do they go back to pooping normally or is this my new normal?

My 6 1/2 month old goes once a day or once every other day.  This has been the norm for him for a while now.  I've checked with his dr and this is normal.  So yours is going 3-5x a day??  Wow, mine has not gone that much since he was a month old!
