I am so tired of these high waist bad boys but all of my other undies hit right at my incision, or at least creep down to it after I am moving around. Will I ever get to wear them again??
Yep, the incision will feel better with time. My incision was the only thing that hurt a few days after surgery so I lived in granny panties and sweatpants for the first 8 weeks or so.
(who am I kidding? i still live in sweatpants...just without the incision pain now )
I am a year past my C/S and it still feels weird when I wear underwear that has elastic around the incision. I have found that the VS lacies (thongs) are perfect. They hit just below the incision and are still sexy.
I didn't wear regular underwear until about 4-5 months pp, but my incision re-opened so the recovery was a little longer. Now, I never have any discomfort, no matter what kind I wear.
You will. At 6 wks I was ready to start wearing regular underwear again. Sometimes my low riding pants are annoying though b/c the button hits on the scar. Hopefully that will go away when I drop the last 10 lbs of baby weight.

You wil be sensitive for a long time. My c section was 5 years ago and my underwear still rub on that csection spot. Its going to take a while to be able to wear normal underwear. My scar felt numb up to a year and a half after.
I didn't start wearing regular undies until about 10 weeks out. It was granny panties and dresses for me. But even now, almost 4 months out, regular undies still bother the incision, and I still can't wear jeans for very long amounts of time. It just rubs too much.

My IF blog
mine is low also, but I have this fabulous flap of fat that makes my underwear creep right to the incision if it isn't high waist underwear
I have that fat too LOL has shrunk a lot but I probably need a tuck!
