update to friend of family with HeLLP need T and P's

I made a post yesterday asking about experiences with HeLLP syndrome and that a friend of my family had a baby last week and had HELLP.  She had tons of bleeding and it caused her liver and kidneys to fail.

The other night we found out she had swelling of her brain and had to have a craniotomy (sp?).  She has not woken up yet.  This is not a close friend of mine but my mom knows her fairly well.

Please just send some prayers out to her and her family.  This was her first baby and my mom talks about what a sweet person she is.   

Baby is fine.

Also, thanks for all of the info that was given to me.  I passed it along. 

I am so sick to my stomach and I do not even know her.

they said she may not make it.  She is not breathing on her own. its terrible.

I'm really hoping she pulls through.  Don't give up hope.  My cousin had Acute Fatty Liver of Pregnancy.  It was so bad that they administered last rites but somehow she survived and is fine today.
