Quick question

Sorry I have to post and run but I have a few pre-wash questions. We have the Bum Genius AIO's, Sunbaby and FuzziBunz Pocket diapers, can I wash them all together? And how many times do I have to wash them before I can use them? On the instructions for the BumGenius diapers it says 6 times but that seems a little excessive, no?

Also, when you washed the diapers, did you let them dry out before washing them again or did you just continue to wash them multiple times before the final dry?

I apologize if these are stupid questions...I googled and haven't found what I was looking for so I figured I'd try here.

I'm lazy, but the only things I "prep" by washing over and over are prefolds and hemp.  Pockets or AIOs, I just wash and dry once and then they go OTB.  They will probably get more absorbent with more washes, but once has always been sufficient for me.

Natural fibers need several wash/dry cycles (to get rid of natural oils, and to get max absorbency). Synthetics need only one wash/dry cycle. Check which are in your diapers, and you have your answer.

I wash and dry each time.
