Finding friends to relate to...

Im not sure how many of you have this issue, but Im a young mom(22) and all of a sudden im having trouble relating to a lot of my friends... even the ones with kiddos))) My bff she is preggos with her 2nd, so shes never wanting to do anything b/c shes exhausted, which i totally get. My other friends that have children are the type who like to go out every weekend, and thats not me now either... so im just running into the problem of finding friends who can relate that want to just hang out with our kids and enjoy each others company... opinions???

Maybe join a moms group on meetup.com?   I believe you can search by your area.  Attend a few meetups and see if you click with anyone!

We are a little older, but in the same boat. Most of our close friends have no children and are becoming single again. I joined moms' group on meetup.com. Good source for play dates and fun ideas, but no luck making friends for us. GL !
